physical media interface solution for HD and SD serial transport links
used primarily in acquisition, production, post production, and
distribution equipment such as serial routing switchers, production and
master control switchers, distribution amplifiers, cameras, camcorders,
VTRs and other multi-rate HD/SD equipment.
Mindspeed’s family of quad channel devices offers products that support standard definition (SDTV), standard and high definition (SDTV/HDTV), and up to two times the HDTV data rates.
