Fusion Devices
The Actel Fusion Programmable System Chip (PSC) is the world's first mixed-signal FPGA, integrating configurable analog, large Flash memory blocks, comprehensive clock generation and management circuitry, and high performance programmable logic in a monolithic device. The innovative Actel Fusion architecture can be used with Actel soft MCU cores and is the definitive Programmable System Chip platform.
The AFS devices are based on Actel's nonvolatile Flash technology and support 90 k to 1.5 M gates. Fusion introduces the Analog Quad I/O blocks, each consist of 3 analog inputs and 1 gate driver. These inputs can be configured as Voltage, Current or Temperature monitor circuits. Other built-in analogue Peripherals include a configurable 32:1 input analog MUX, MOSFET gate driver output and a configurable ADC that supports 8,10 and 12 BIT modes of operation with a cumulative sample rate of up to 600Ksps. The high-density Integrated Flash memory block capacity ranges from 256 Kbytes to 1 Mbyte.
